Safe Use For Reliable Hosting

The abuse, security, and resource rules that protect ZapNodes infrastructure and customers.

Last updated: July 2026

Network Safety

Protects customers from spam, DDoS, phishing, malware, and infrastructure abuse.

Resource Fairness

Keeps shared hosting fast by limiting abusive workloads and disruptive automation.

Clear Enforcement

Explains how ZapNodes may investigate, suspend, filter, or terminate abusive services.

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy protects ZapNodes customers, infrastructure, upstream providers, and the wider internet. It explains what is not allowed on ZapNodes services and how abuse reports may be handled.

2. Prohibited Illegal Activity

You may not use ZapNodes services for illegal content, fraud, phishing, identity theft, stolen data, unauthorized access, copyright-infringing distribution, malware, botnets, credential stuffing, or activity that violates applicable laws.

3. Network Abuse

Port scanning, DDoS attacks, stress testing, packet flooding, reflection attacks, spoofing, open proxies, spam relays, malicious tunneling, and attempts to disrupt other networks or customers are prohibited.

4. Resource Abuse

Shared services must not be used for crypto mining, heavy scraping, abusive automation, excessive CPU or disk I/O, bandwidth abuse, storage dumping, or workloads that degrade service quality for other customers.

5. Game Server Conduct

Game servers must not host malicious mods, stolen server files, unauthorized monetization schemes, harassment campaigns, illegal gambling, or content that creates security, legal, or upstream provider risk.

6. Email and Messaging

Unsolicited bulk email, spam bots, Discord spam, mass direct messaging, phishing pages, fake giveaways, and automation designed to evade platform limits are not allowed.

7. Security Expectations

Customers must keep passwords, panels, bots, plugins, websites, and operating systems secure. Compromised services may be isolated, suspended, or reinstalled if they threaten ZapNodes infrastructure or third parties.

8. Abuse Reports

ZapNodes may investigate abuse reports from customers, platforms, upstream providers, payment processors, or law enforcement. We may request customer action, suspend access, preserve evidence, or remove content depending on severity.

9. Enforcement

Violations may result in warning, rate limiting, firewall filtering, suspension, termination, data removal, denial of refund, or refusal of future service. Serious abuse may be acted on immediately without prior notice.
